Conroe's Fall Evenings Now Run on a Weekly Schedule

October 22, 2026

Most of Conroe's outdoor evenings happen on a set night each week. Trivia is on Wednesday on Metcalf Street. Karaoke is on Thursday on Madeley Street. B-52 Brewing has a concert every Saturday through mid-December. Once the weather cools enough to sit outside, the easiest way to plan a night is to start with the day of the week and let that decide where you go.

This fall the rotation is also changing. Southern Star Brewing came back under new owners after a closure that looked permanent earlier this summer. A new icehouse on North Loop 336 East is getting ready to open. And the downtown stages have shows booked through the end of November.

The Week, Night by Night

These are the standing nights and series currently on the venues' calendars. All are in Conroe unless noted otherwise.

Night Where What's on
Tuesday Pacific Yard House, 101 Metcalf St. Live music
Wednesday Pacific Yard House Trivia, 7:30 to 9 p.m.
Thursday Lucy Blues, 711 Madeley St. Karaoke
Thursday Pacific Yard House Happy hour
Friday Lucy Blues Joe Blues & Co.
Saturday B-52 Brewing, 12470 Milroy Ln. Saturday Concert Series, 6 to 9 p.m.
Sunday Lucy Blues Open jam
Sunday Pacific Yard House Brunch

Pacific Yard House also runs a monthly Big Ticket Bingo night on top of its weekly lineup. The Table at Madeley books its biggest concerts on weekends, with a run of shows covered below. Laid out this way, the week shows where things cluster. Downtown carries the weeknights and Sunday, and the breweries out on the edges of town take Saturday.

Downtown Carries the Weeknights

Downtown has three venues within a few blocks of each other on Metcalf and Madeley Streets, and each one owns a different night of the week.

Pacific Yard House at 101 Metcalf St. starts the week. Its events page lists live music on Tuesday, trivia on Wednesday, happy hour on Thursday and brunch on Sunday. Trivia is on the calendar for November 4 and November 11, both from 7:30 to 9 p.m., so if you want a set game night before Thanksgiving, those Wednesdays are booked.

Lucy Blues at 711 Madeley St. covers the back half of the week. Its event listings show karaoke on Thursday, Joe Blues & Co. on Friday and an open jam on Sunday, with dates running through November 29. Sunday's open jam is a good fit for anyone who plays an instrument, and Sunday is also the night downtown overlaps the most, since Pacific Yard House serves brunch the same day.

Down the street, The Table at Madeley at 316 Madeley St. is set up as a concert venue. It has indoor and outdoor space, food trucks on site, a full-service bar and a stage with sound support. Its November calendar opens with three nights in a row:

  • Thursday, November 5: Kyle Gates
  • Friday, November 6: Kyle Park
  • Saturday, November 7: Gavin Story Band with Jakota Wass

More shows are on The Table's calendar through Saturday, November 28. That first weekend in November lines up well with the regular schedule. You could catch Joe Blues & Co. at Lucy Blues on Friday and still make Kyle Park or the Saturday bill a few blocks away.

Saturday Belongs to the Breweries

Downtown fills Tuesday through Friday from a few blocks of Madeley and Metcalf. On Saturday, the action moves to the two breweries in different parts of town.

B-52 Brewing on Milroy Lane has a shaded beer garden and says it brings in food trucks every day it is open. That makes it a full evening without a separate dinner stop. Its Saturday Concert Series started October 10 and runs through December 19, from 6 to 9 p.m. each week, according to the Lake Conroe event listing. That is eleven Saturdays of live music, and the series wraps up the weekend before Christmas. Band names for each date are worth checking on B-52's own calendar before you go.

The bigger brewery story this year is on North Frazier Street. Southern Star Brewing, founded in 2008 and described by the Houston Chronicle as one of Texas' pioneering craft breweries, announced in June that its taproom would close. By the end of July, the Chronicle reported, it was reopening at its longtime home at 3525 N. Frazier St. under new ownership and management, bringing back familiar beers and adding new ones. The Chronicle quoted the brewery's Facebook announcement: "This isn't the end, but a fresh new beginning!"

The reopening weekend ran from noon to 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. The Chronicle report did not include regular hours after that, so check the brewery's current hours before you head over. For Saturday plans, Conroe now has two brewery taprooms on the map again. One is on the north side near Frazier Street and the other is out on Milroy Lane.

A New Venue Built for Daytime and Nighttime

The newest stop on the rotation is Conroe Ice House at 1355 N. Loop 336 E. Community Impact reported in late September that the Mexican restaurant planned a soft launch in early October and an official opening in late October. It will have in-house and visiting food trucks and a full bar with local beers and cocktails.

General manager Justin Marshall told Community Impact what he has in mind. "Conroe is home. We saw an opportunity to build a genuine gathering place for the community - family-friendly by day, and a bar and live music venue by night," Marshall said.

That mix is what sets the Ice House apart from the rest of the week. Most of the standing nights above happen after dark. A place that is family-friendly in the afternoon and becomes a music venue at night could fill both halves of a Saturday, much like B-52's food-truck beer garden does on Milroy Lane.

The first event on the Ice House calendar is a family-friendly Trunk or Treat on Saturday, October 24, with the time still to be announced. As of this writing, the Ice House website still says "Opening Soon" and lists hours and phone as coming soon. Check the site or the venue's social pages before planning a visit around it. Its plans include patios, food trucks, live music and private events.

When the Plan Is the Lake

Some weekends call for water views. The nearest lakeside options sit west of Conroe along Highway 105 in the Montgomery area, outside Conroe city limits.

  • Party on the Plaza at Waterpoint Plaza, near Monty's Lighthouse at 15250 TX-105 in Montgomery. The October fall series has live music Friday and Saturday from 7 to 10 p.m., with Maggie Reese and Buck Yeager on October 30 and 31.
  • Conroe Lake House, 14954 Hwy. 105 W., Montgomery. Sunday DJ Arz sets are listed through November 29, which makes it a lakeside alternative to the downtown Sunday open jam.
  • Papa's on the Lake, 14632 TX-105, Montgomery. An open-air bar and grill with covered patio and lakeside seating.
  • 333 Bar & Grill, 26333 Old Hwy. 105 W., Montgomery. The owners told Community Impact in August that it hosts live music on weekends, Thursday steak nights and Sunday brunch.

Put the in-town calendar and the lake calendar together and a fall weekend can stretch from Friday blues on Madeley Street to a Saturday concert at B-52 to a Sunday lakeside set on Highway 105.
